Death leaves the kind of pain that only God can heal, but memories are something, death cannot steal.

I am so grateful for the time that we had and for the memories we were blessed to create. Uncle BJ, I will never regret reaching out to you that day and a couple of weeks later....after I forgot about the letter I sent you, I received a letter in return....and that was the start of beautiful relationship. You were more than an Uncle...you were like a Big Brother to me. I have no regrets, for you knew my family and I loved you, and we in return knew you loved us. You worked so hard on your job as well as for the Lord. Many times we would talk, you would talk about how tired you were...but you kept pressing on anyhow. Well Unc, God saw you and decided you worked hard and long enough and has called you home.. Rest now Unc, for your work down here is done.....and now you can "Sing Praises" to God!!!! Gone, but NEVER...EVER FORGOTTEN!!!!!!

I first met Bro Davis a few years ago. He came to my office to report he had been injured on the job. He told me how he had not always lived a saved life and he was trying to live for the Lord. Well, that got me right there. It was a Wednesday and he said he was going to prayer meeting and bible study with his brother(who was then Deacon Bernard Davis). I was overcome with joy that this Christian Brother was moving down such a righteous path. I ran into him a few months later @ Walmart. I heard this voice shout out "hey Mister Jackson". I turned around to see that big broad smile on his face. Last time I seen him was at 5th Sunday Meeting at 2nd West earlier this year.. As usual he had that big broad smile. He died on the job, at my home church. I was not there but the loss was a shock. He didn't get caught with his work undone. He was doing his last job for the Lord. He went home with praises of the Lord coming out of his heart and mouth. That's the way I want to go. On the job for the God. Giving him the Praise and Glory. Rest in peace My Christian Brother.

God Bless this wonderful family. Remember Revelation: 21:4

My prayer is that God will bless the family of this great man that was dearly loved by those that knew him and worked with him. He was always positive and upbeat and shined the light of Christ into everyone's life he met.
