Josephine Brown

Josephine Brown was born October 23, 1925 in Watertown, Georgia to Isaac Brown and Isabell Jenkins Brown.

She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church, Panama City, Florida.

Ms. Brown was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and a daughter.

On Friday, April 14, 2017, God dispatched his “angel of mercy” to her earthly home to escort her to her Heavenly home.

Ms. Brown is survived by her children: Betty McCray of Panama  City, Florida and Melvin Foster and his wife Alvita of Wichita Falls, Texas; eight grandchildren; twenty-two grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 12 noon to funeral time at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, April 22, 2017, Saint Paul AME Church, 3517 2nd Street, Panama City, FL with the Reverend Douglas Jones officiating.

She will be laid to rest in the Hillside Cemetery in Panama City, FL under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, FL.
