Tekeyell Q. Johnson

Mr. Tekeyell Qauyon Johnson was born Wednesday, October 21, 1992 in Tallahassee, Florida to Tuyuana Morris and Billy Johnson.

He gave his life to Christ at an early age and was a graduate in the 2012 Class at Chipley High School, Chipley, Florida and a die-heart Florida Gator fan.

Tekeyell was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and a friend to all who knew him. Tekeyell was preceded in death by his sister, Shunteria McIntyre; and nephews: Keonte’ and Deonte’ McIntyre.

Tekeyell lost his battle to cancer after a long, courageous fight. On Wednesday, August 12, 2015, God whispered into His angels ear and called him home to rest eternally into his safe and loving arms.

Tekeyell was survived by his mother and stepfather: Tuyuana and Jeff Growalt of Chipley, Florida and father, Billy Johnson of Dothan, Alabama; brothers: Kevon Radford of Atlanta, Georgia, Tristan Johnson and Dakota Growalt both of Chipley, Florida; sisters: Devina Kennedy, Deja Kennedy and Tamathia Berry all of Dothan, Alabama; grandparents: Edna and Brian Brown of Chipley, Florida, Apostle Bobby and Annie Frison of Dothan, Alabama, Marion Johnson of Dothan, Alabama and Sandra Clausen of Atlanta, Georgia; aunts and uncles: Pamela Morris of Chipley, Florida, Lisa and Robert Buze, Sr., of Dothan, Alabama, Cynthia Johnson Dubose of Dothan, Alabama, Jacklyn Johnson-Artisan and Kelvin of Columbia, South Carolina, Jeanette and Frank Pittman of Chipley, Florida, Angie and Thomas Smith of Chipley, Florida, Eric Flowers of Chipley, Florida and Marion and Porche Johnson, Jr., of  Georgetown, Georgia; special nephews: Keon Griggs of Dothan, Alabama; special cousins: Jacaris Johnson and Marcus Merriel; special aunts: Lillie Filmore and Kijuana H. Smith; special cousins: British Potter, Bria Speights and Shantel Helton; host of great aunts and uncles, numerous other relatives and friends.
