Miss Simone J. Works, age 21, a residence of Marianna, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2021 in Panama City, Florida from injuries sustained in a automobile accident.

Simone was a 2018 graduate of Marianna High School and was employed with Maximus of Lynn Haven, Florida.

Simone was survived by her son, Jaylyn Karter who passed on Monday, May 17, 2021 in Pensacola, Florida; her parents: Michael Anthony Works of Marianna, FL and Christine Works of St. Petersburg, FL; her siblings: Michael Austin Works of Marianna, Florida, Robert Adkins of Dalton, Georgia, Marissa Adkins of Marianna, Florida and Morgan Valdez of Dalton, Georgia; paternal grandmother, Ernestine Works; maternal grandparents: Barbara Roberts of Saint Petersburg, Florida and George Crowley of Winooski, Vermont; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
