Mattie "Sweet" Wright

Mattie "Sweet" Wright, 97, of Graceville died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, in the Jackson County Convalescent Center.

She was a native of Jackson County and a member of New Easter Missionary Baptist Church in Graceville.

She leaves to cherish her memories: two sisters, Iola Reese of Saint Petersburg and Matokha Ralls of Ashford, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. at New Easter Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Price Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Graceville Community Cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.

Visitation will be held today, Wednesday, Oct. 29, from 6 until 7 p.m. at the Rodney D. Pittman Memorial Chapel in Graceville.
