Lee Alverez Henry

Mr. Lee Alverez Henry, of Baltimore, MD, formerly of Graceville, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 27, 2009 in Onley, Maryland, following a brief illness. He was 52.

Visitation will be Friday, October 9, 2009, at the Rodney D. and M. Sue Pittman Memorial Chapel, 5441 Cooper Street (located at the funeral home), from 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

Funeral services will be Saturday, October 10, 2009, 11:00 A.M., in the New Easter Missionary Baptist Church, 977 Hope Avenue, Graceville, FL, with his sister, Evangelist Tracey L. Hall delivering words of comfort, assisted by the Reverend Price Wilson, pastor, Reverend John G. Flournoy and Bishop L. C. Frederick.

He will be laid to rest in the Graceville Community Cemetery with military honors, under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.

He was born on December 2, 1956 and was raised in Graceville, Florida to Willie L. Henry and Lorene Peterson was baptized at an early age and became a member of New Easter Baptist Church in Graceville, Florida. He served his country in the United States Army and received an honorable discharge in 1975.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Claudia K. Henry; daughter: Shannon R. Henry; grandchildren: Nichols and Shaune all of Chipley, Florida; his parents: Lorene Peterson of Spotsylvania, Virginia and Willie L. Henry, Thomasville, Georgia; a sister, Tracey L. Hall of Fredericksburg, Virginia; a brother, Kelly E. Henry of Florida; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
