Kenneth Stancoff Obituary

Kenneth Ray Stancoff, known affectionately as Kenneth to his friends and loved ones, left this world richer for his presence on June 5, 2025. Born in Fresno, California, on May 14, 1946, Kenneth's journey through life took him to Graceville, Florida, where he passed away surrounded by the warmth of memories and the love of his family.

Kenneth's life was a testament to the power of intelligence, analytical prowess, and a ceaseless curiosity that made him not only an interesting companion but also a beacon of inspiration to all who knew him. His early years in Fresno were the foundation upon which he built a life of service and accomplishment. After an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, Kenneth transitioned his disciplined skills into a successful career as a computer engineer. His contributions to the field echoed the precision and dedication he applied to every endeavor.

He navigated life's challenges with a rare blend of wisdom and wit, often reminding those around him that, "The only way to do great work is to love what you do," a quote attributed to Steve Jobs. Kenneth indeed loved his work, and this passion was evident in the meticulous nature of his projects and the innovative solutions he brought to complex problems.

Kenneth's legacy is carried forward by his children, Jeff and Carolyn Stancoff, who reflect his intelligence and spirit, and his sister, Nancy Brickell, who shares his sense of humor and strength. They, along with numerous relatives, cousins, and friends, celebrate the indelible mark he left on their lives. Kenneth was a man who measured wealth not in material possessions but in the bonds, he forged and the lives he touched.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Stancoff and Dorothy Weir Stancoff, who instilled in him the values of integrity and hard work. The fond memories shared with his parents, and the values they passed on, remained with Kenneth as guiding stars throughout his life.

Kenneth's story does not end with his passing. It continues in the laughter of his children, the progress of the technologies he helped advance, and the stories that are retold amongst friends and family. His was a life that exemplified the belief that one person's efforts can indeed make a difference in the world.

As we honor Kenneth Ray Stancoff, let us remember that each day is an opportunity to make an impact, to learn something new, and to lead by example. In celebrating his life, we recognize the potential within ourselves to live with purpose and joy. Kenneth's journey may have come to a close, but the chapters he wrote in the lives of others continue to inspire and motivate us all.
