Obituary

Mr. Jason Swilley, age 50, of Atlanta, Georgia, formerly of Marianna, FL went home to be with Lord on September 30, 2022 in Atlanta.

He was a native of Jackson County and a graduate of Marianna High School, Class of 1990. Jason also is a Veteran of the United States Army.

He leaves to cherish his sweet precious memories to his loving wife, Dana Swilley; his loving and devoted parents: Maria Lewis and Irvin Swilley, Sr. (deceased); his extended mother, Wilma Robinson (FL); his very loving and caring children: Na’Keiste Swilley (Johnnie Garvin), (GA), Shaniah Spellman (GA), Jhaniah Lanier (GA), Racquelle Cooper (TX), Journee Davis (AL) and LaToya Godwin (WA). Kywanna Hayes; his one and only son, Nicholas Benson (GA); grandchildren: LaQuinton Beckwith Swilley (GA), YuNique Swilley (GA), Jiah Garvin (GA), Jior Garvin (GA), Kaisley Rhynes (FL) and JhaMek McKinzie, Jr. (TX); four brothers: Ivin Swilley, Jr. (GA), Antonio Swilley (FL), Shaun Swilley (FL) and Rashay Grant (FL); cousins reared as siblings: Margo Pender (GA) and Michael Pope (FL); maternal grandparents: Annie Bell (deceased); and Reuben Pope (deceased), (FL); paternal grandparents: Erma Swilley Hines (FL) and Ernest Swilley (deceased); goddaughter: Shayla Johnson; one niece: Deasia Swilley; very special friends: Clem Malcolm, Thomas Bell, Laderius Beachem and Ramsey Johnson; also a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
