Mr. James Young was born on March 10, 1946 in Campbellton, Florida to Charlie Sr., and Cleste Blaine Young.
James was a Barber at Arthur G. Dozier School for Boys for several yours and owner of Young’s Barber Shop in Graceville, Florida.
He is survived by his son, James Lewis Young and wife Stephanie of Dothan, Alabama; grandchildren: Vakel Baker and Jamal Brooks; great grandchild: Emery Brooks; siblings: Carrie Jean Sorey of Campbellton, Florida, Irene and husband Dennis Bellamy of Youngsville, North Carolina, Katherine Young of Graceville, Florida, Ellen and husband Timothy Joyner Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, Charlie Lee Young, Jr. and wife Mattizine of Leesville, Louisiana, Roy Lee and wife Felecia Young of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jerry Young of Spring Lake, North Carolina, William Young and Murray Young of Campbellton, Florida; special friends: Annette (Red), Noel, Sharon and Walter “Coot” Douglas; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
James joined his parents; siblings: Ernestine Rhymes, Robert Young and Raymond Young, along with other relatives and friends in Heaven on September 28, 2022
