On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, the Lord called Ms. Fannie Mae Johnson home.
Born October 27, 1928, she was raised in Graceville, Florida. She graduated from Florida A&M University with a Bachelor Degree in Education. She later returned to complete her Master Degree and a Post-Master Degree Certification in Special Education. Fannie taught in the Jackson County Public Schools System for more than thirty-years.
She was the daughter of Walter H. and Lela Johnson who preceded her death. In addition, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Walter L. Johnson, Sr., Hosea Johnson, Thomas “T.D” Douglas, Edward Johnson, Chip Johnson and Perry Johnson.
She leaves to cherish her memories to her family, which includes her son and daughter-in-law: Charlie (Claudia) Pratt; grandson: Jason Pratt; granddaughter-in-law: Shuri Pratt; great grandchildren: Julian Pratt and Vanessa Pratt; nieces: Beverly Croft, Patsy Green and Trudy Blue; nephew: Milton Johnson; other cousins, relatives, church family and friends.
Ms. Fannie touched the lives of many in her family, her church youth, her community and will be remembered by her kindness, generous and loving spirit.
