Catherine Davis was born November 4, 1920 in Choccolocco, Alabama.

Her mother, Sleetie Slack Bowie, had her mother Ophelia Kirsey’s assistance in raising Catherine. Catherine went to grade school in Calhoun County. She graduated from Centerville High School, Centerville, Alabama before she obtained employment at the University of Alabama. She married Aubray Cannon and later moved to Robbins, Illinois.

Catherine was saved in 1950, and did receive the Holy Ghost and received the gift of “Prophecy”, during a revival in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. The Saints became her family. She joined the Triumph Church and Kingdom of God in Chris under the leadership of Elder Mack Moore and Mother Verbenia Moore in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Her first job in the church was as Local Youth Worker. In this very church Catherine was ordained an Elder.

She went to Africa first with Mother H. Taylor, and she volunteered to accompany Mother Holley, when asked to go to Africa. Catherine, and her three children, went to Liberia with residential Visa’s. She soon also assumed the leadership role of the Triumph’s Mission and School in Liberia in 1974. Catherine and her children lived and worked in Brewerville, Liberia for years. While in Liberia, Catherine acquired an education in Culinary Arts. Her leadership over the land and people in that region, customarily”, gained her the title of “Queen”. After returning to the USA she married Mr. Thomas Davis in 1982.

Queen continued her education through correspondence course, continuing education courses and graduate Magna Cum Laude from Bethany Divinity College and Seminary in Dothan, Alabama in the mid-eighties. She did yet travel back and forth from the USA to Liberia to oversee the work of the Mission and School. In the year of 2010, Elder Davis recommended to the Church Leadership, The Chief Apostle and Bishop’s Council, that her godson, Dr. Gbayanminin “Dolo” Diaminah take the reins of leadership in Liberia, Africa, his homeland. He does, to this day, execute the position as Dean of Triumph Mission School. She assumed the title as “Emeritus”.
