Mr. Eddie Clemons, Jr., was born on April 15, 1942 in Jackson County, Florida to Eddie and Ezella “Bay” White Clemons.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Personal Lord and Savior at an early age at Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob City, Florida, where he served faithfully in the Choir.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; one brother, Arnick Clemons, and his sisters: Arene Overton, Rena Brown, Anna Tanner, Maddia Thompson and Ernestine Clemons.
Ed was a product of the Jackson County School System and faithfully worked until retirement from the Bay Line Railroad.
Ed leaves to cherish his memory his niece/caregiver, Alice Taylor (the Reverend Henry E.); his sister: Lula Anderson of Ocala, Florida; stepchildren: Ann Gillette and Christopher Saulsberry; a godson, Minister Johnnie Beechem, Jr., and a host of nieces, nephews, cousin, other relatives and friends; a special friend, Lola Collins.
On Thursday, September 2, 2021, boarded the Heavenly bound train at 04:40 am, and left us the following message: “If you miss me singing down here, Oh, come on up to bright glory, you'll find me singing up there.
