With heavy hearts, our family announces the passing of Diann Smith Labianca. She left us peacefully in the company of family and friends on August 13, 2024, at the age of 75.
Diann was born in Port Huron, Michigan, on March 19, 1949. She moved with the family to Jacksonville, Florida, at the age of 5. Diann always loved music and took Trumpet lessons that led her to play in Tigers of Andrew Jackson High School Marching Band. She graduated from there in 1967 and started her adult life soon after.
Diann lived all over in the south and eventually in Panama City, Florida close to her daughter and grandchildren. She was a cherished Mother, Grandmother and Friend. Known for her kindness, wisdom, joking nature, and her arts and crafts skills, especially crochet and knitting.
Diann was predeceased by her parents, Bob and Margie Smith, and her brother Paul Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Shelba Smith Williams (Doug and children); daughter, Michelle (David), and daughter, Marsha (Charles); grandchildren: David (Stephanie), Joshua, Tiffanie (Justin), Matthew, Kimberly (Ryan), and 9 great grandchildren, many cousins and friends.
We will miss her smiling face, her stories, vibrant spirit, and loving nature. See you again when God calls us home.
