In humble submission to the Will of God, the management and staff of Christian Memorial Chapel, LLC sorrowfully announce the earthly departure of Mrs. Deborah "Dee-Dee" Unice Pinkard, age 58 of St. Petersburg, Florida and formerly of Graceville, Florida.

While in the serenity and comfort of Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, Florida, God dispatched the Angel of Death to relay a message to Dee Dee, saying "I see your road is rough, and the hill is getting too steep. Come rest your head upon My breast, your soul I will keep."

Ms. Deborah “Dee-Dee” Unice Pinkard was born in Graceville, Florida on April 1, 1960 to Callie Broxton and the late Curtis Pinkard. 

Deborah enjoyed life to its fullest. The great outdoors were her favorite pastime; so you might see her on the beach, “gone fishing, or traveling on a road trip.” Her other hobbies included cooking and creating beautiful hairstyles. She was outgoing and loved people, and she loved the thrill of surprising others with kindness.

Deborah did not meet a stranger; she enjoyed the gift of making new friends. Deborah was an outstanding mother and a true friend, who treated people with dignity and respect.

Deborah always remembered her loved ones and friends who helped and encouraged her throughout her life.

Deborah is survived by her mother, Ms. Callie Broxton of Graceville, Florida; two sons, Robert Vicks and Charles Vicks, both of Seattle, Washington; and four daughters, Kallisha Vicks of Graceville, Florida, Latoya Freeman, Shaneika Jones, and Bri Robinson of St. Petersburg, Florida.
