She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sisters, Judy Sloan and Colleen Ruiz and a brother Larry. The reunion with her sisters was surely a comforting and joyous moment, as they embraced her with the same love and warmth that defined Dawn's relationships in life.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her husband, Andre Palmore, Sr., who stood by her side as her partner in all things.
