Cullen Pittman, Jr.

Cullen Pittman, Jr. was blessed with the breath of life on February 8, 1946 in Panama City, Florida to Cullen Sr. and Iona Rouhlac Pittman. He was the oldest of seven children.

He accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior, and was a member of Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob, Florida.

Cullen graduated from Rosenwald High School and after graduating he joined the United States Army. After his service was completed he returned home settling in Jacob, Florida where he met and married Willie Ruth Blount, wife of 52 years. 

Cullen retired from Arthur G. Dozier School For Boys in Marianna, Florida. 

If ever in need of transportation to the doctor or grocery store Cullen was happy to oblige. He enjoyed spending time with his family, growing vegetables in his backyard and sharing with all. His strength, wisdom, and love will be cherished in the hearts of all those he loved. 

On August 19, 2022, Cullen went home to be with the Lord. He was preceded in death by his father, Cullen Pittman, Sr. and mother, Iona Roulhac Pittman. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, his beloved wife: Willie Ruth Pittman of Jacob, Florida; sons: Reginald Pittman of Jacob, Florida, Randall Pittman of Jacob, Florida, Terrance Pittman of Marianna, Florida; daughter: Selentia Pittman of Cottondale, Florida; brothers: King Pittman (Mary) of Panama City, Florida, Kelvin Pittman of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters: Earnestine Pittman of Atlanta, Georgia, Clementine Leonard (Virgil) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Rose Daniels (Kenneth) of Atlanta, Georgia, Ida Pittman of Tallahassee, Florida; faithful cousin: David Pittman of Jacob, Florida; along with a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
