Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CWO2) Thomas Oliver Lombard “Superman” was born on April 2, 1952, in Epsom, N.H., to Eris and Stephen Lombard, Sr. 

Tom graduated from Pembroke Academy in Pembroke, N.H.  Shortly after graduating, he enlisted in the United States Navy.  Tom served our country through three tours in Vietnam.  Despite being severely wounded in Vietnam, Tom continued his service to country throughout the Iran crisis in 1975 and the 1990 Gulf War.  He retired from the Navy after proudly serving for 21 years. 

In the years following his retirement from service, Tom continued to serve his community as a finish carpenter and deliveryman for Badcock Furniture Store.

He was preceded in death by his father, Stephen Lombard, Sr.; his mother, Eris Terrell; his stepfather, Clarence Terrell; his brother, Stephen Lombard, Jr., and his brothers-in-law, Richard Candy and Shawn Wayman. 

He is survived by his wife, Willie Ruth Lombard, of Graceville, FL. His children: Salito Lombard (Meka), University Place, WA, Letitia Lombard-Myrick, Graceville, FL. His grandchildren: Katsumi Lombard, University Place, WA; Demica Myrick, Tallahassee, FL; Aeneas Myrick (Karmyn), Graceville, FL; Tyre Myrick (LaDeshia), Pensacola, FL; Eddie Myrick, Jr. (Aaliyah), Pensacola, FL, Tara Myrick-Gaddy, Graceville, Florida; Ja’Leese Dudley, Marianna, FL. His great-grandchildren: Ahmad Myrick, Pensacola, FL; Za’Neyssia Laster, Qu’Tavia Gaddy, both of Graceville, FL. His brother and sisters: Jim Lombard, Epsom, N.H.; Gina Lombard-Canney, Farmington, N.H.; Deborah Terrell- Bazemore (Jamie), Concord, N.H.; Linda Terrell, Derry, N.H.; Clarence Terrell, Jr. (Ginny), Pittsfield, N.H.; Sharon Terrell-Wayman, Loudon, N.H. Mothers-in-law: Eva Mae Walker, Chipley, FL, and Lillie Ruth Lawrence, Graceville, FL. His brothers and sisters-in-law: Susan Lombard, Epsom, N.H.; Frank Graham (Marvetta); Kenneth Lawrence (Leslie); Regina Perry (Shawn); all from Graceville, FL; DeVeroe Lawrence (LaWanda), Pensacola, FL; Jimmy Graham (Annie Ruth), Port Charlotte, FL; and David Graham (Angelica), South Florida; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Along with his family, Tom counted Lance Laster, John McClendon, Stevie Russ, and Larry Collins among his exceptional friends.

Thomas died peacefully at Flowers Hospital on the morning of May 19, 2023, surrounded by those who loved and cared for him most.
