In humble submission to the Will of God, the management and staff of Christian Memorial Chapel, LLC, sorrowfully announce the earthly departure of Mr. Barney Berry, 81, husband of Willie Jean Berry of Dothan, Alabama.

Brother Barney Berry was born in Clayton, Alabama, Barbour County, on October 30, 1939 to Sol and Katie Bell Cruz Berry.

He was converted at an early age and joined New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Dothan, Alabama.

He was united in Holy Matrimony to Willie Jean Ramsey on April 24, 1993.

Mr. Berry is survived by his wife, Willie Jean Ramsey Berry; children: Joseph Lee Dickson (Quae) of Campbellton, Florida, Travis Dickson, Sr. and (LaWanda) of Webb, Alabama and Mimi S. Power of Killeen, Texas; grandchildren which includes his favored, Travis Cyntell Dickson, Jr. and a favorite granddaughter, Saderricka Keys of Tallahassee, Florida, Zenova, Trice, April, Cam, Tabias, Ebony, Nikkia and Andrea; brothers: Buddy Sol Berry of Gretna, Florida and Jimmy Berry of Dothan, Alabama; sister, Mae Bell Jones of Dothan, Alabama; his favorite sister-in-law; Annie Ramsey of Graceville, Florida; sisters and brothers-in-law: Kenneth Bernard Brown both of Graceville, Florida, Jackie and Jimmy Brown of Jacob, Florida, Mary and Willie Johnson of Muncie, Indiana, Kenny Johnson of Eufaula, Alabama, Levester Ramsey, Sr., of Campbellton, Florida, Jimmy and Jackie Brown of Jacob City, Florida and Roland Ramsey of Graceville, Florida; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

On Monday, November 30, 2020, while in the serenity and comfort of his residence, God dispatched the Angel of Death to relay a message to Mr. Berry, saying "I see your road is rough, and the hill is getting too steep. Come rest your head upon My breast, your soul I will keep."
