Annie Mae Darby, 66, of Marianna died Monday, Oct. 20, 2003, in Jackson Hospital.
A native of Jackson County, she was a member of Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by: her companion, Gordon Mack of Marianna; four daughters, Wilma Robinson and her husband, Walter, Quanda Pyles, Teresa E. Thomas and her husband, David, all of Marianna, and Lula M. Hayes of Miami; one son, Lorinthies Hayes of Phoenix City, Ala.; one brother, James Darby and his wife, Vivian of Marianna; a special niece, Valerie Darby of Marianna; a special nephew, Ervin Pittman of Cottonwood, Ala.; 27 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 25, at 2 p.m. at Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church in Marianna with the Revs. L.L. Brooks, E. Swinton, B. Felton, and Gammons officiating. Burial will be in the Orange Hill Cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.
The family will receive friends at Bethel Star Missionary Baptist Church today, Friday, Oct. 24, from 6 until 8 p.m.
