Victoria Ann Stallworth

Victoria is the name given to her at birth by her parents Walter, Sr. and Annie Jim Stallworth. The name Victoria is of Latin decent and takes on the meaning, “Victory.” Perhaps, her parents chose the name, Victoria, because she was the only girl born among male siblings.

Victoria Ann Stallworth was born on Tuesday, July 20, 1954 in Port St. Joe, Florida.

She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at the blessed age of 62.

Vicki was raised in a Christian household where she was taught about the love and goodness of Jesus Christ and the Holy Commandments. Consequently, she united with the Church of God in Christ under the pastoral tutelage of the Rev. Otis T. Stallworth, Sr.

Vicki was a graduate of Port St. Joe Junior - Senior High School, Class of 1972. And, she attended Tallahassee Community College.

Vicki’s work experience was widespread. Over the years, she was employed as an accountant, a nurse and a clerk. Vicki’s most recent employment was as an associate at Duren’s Piggly Wiggly. She always greeted the customers with a big smile, kind words and offered her assistance with courtesy.

Vicki was gifted with many talents. She was a dexterous seamstress, a clothing designer, and a freelance poet.

Vicki was a beautiful person with a sweet spirit and a character that defined her. She had a strong faith in God and believed in the power of prayer. She would often tell about witnessing God’s miracles in her life. Vicki had a special love for her family. She took advantage of every opportunity and traveled infinite miles to multiple states, just to be close to her loved ones. She had an endless devotion to her friends and neighbors; one that is best reflected in Proverbs 18:24, “A friend who sticks closer than a brother”.
