Shirley Jones Obituary
Shirley J. Jones, 50, of Campbellton died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2003, at her residence.
She was a native of Jackson County and a member of St. Mary Missionary Baptist in Jacob City.
She leaves to cherish her memories: one son, Edward Jones Jr. and his wife, Denise of Jacob City; two daughters, Triwanna Gadson of Marianna, and Tanzania Jones Williams of Cottondale; six sisters, Mary White and her husband, Robert of Cottondale, Pennie Stewart and her husband, Framan, Essie Peterson and Ruth Griffin all of Lynn Haven, Addie Sue Pyles and her husband, James of Jacob City, and Carolyn Holmes and her husband, Harold of New Port News, Va.; one brother, Danny Jones and his wife, Keta of Leesville, La.; and seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Oct. 30, from 6 until 7 p.m. at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob City.
The funeral will be held Friday, Oct. 31, at 2 p.m. at St. Mary Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. G.E. Bowers, Obadiah White, Price Wilson, and Darrell Franklin officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville.
