When peace, like a river, attendeth my way,
when sorrows like sea billows roll;
whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say,
It is well, it is well with my soul.
It is well with my soul,
it is well, it is well with my soul.
In humble submission to the will of God, Christian Memorial Chapel sadly announces the passing of Mrs. Pearlie Mae Oliver, age 91.
Mrs. Oliver transitioned into eternal rest and peace Monday, May 20, 2019 in Decatur, Georgia.
She is survived by four sons: Hubert Prather, Marianna, Florida, Sam Oliver, and Clifford Oliver both of Dothan, Alabama and Carl Oliver, Pensacola Florida; one daughter: Carole Oliver and granddaughter, Latoya Britt both of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother: Moses Barkley of Tallahassee, Florida; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Although we are saddened by her passing, we rejoice in knowing that she's in a land "where she'll never grow old." Farewell, Mrs. Oliver, you were tired and needed your rest. You were called forth by God, and your soul was truly blessed. We will not weep and mourn because we don't see you on this side anymore. We know that you'll be waiting to meet us on the other shore.
Please keep the Oliver family in prayer, as we reflect the gracious memories.
