Henrietta Rhynes of Jacob City, FL went home to be with the Lord on November 23, 2010 at 9:00 O'clock in the evening at Flowers Hospital, Dothan surrounded by her loving family. She was 68.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 27, 2010 11:00 A.M., Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church in Jacob City, Florida with the Reverend Obadiah White, Pastor, officiated. She was laid to rest in the church cemetery under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, FL.
Henrietta was born on May 25, 1942 to the late Mr. Maxie Walker, Sr., and Mrs. Hester Baldwin Walker. She was employed at the Campbellton-Graceville hospital for thirty-five years. In 1991, she received a plaque for "Employee of the Year".
During the year of 1958, she was married to the late Johnny Jones, Sr., in which they bared three boys: Lonnie, Vincent and the late Shedrick Jones.
Later in life, she met another great and loving man, Arthur Lee Rhynes, Sr., those two were united in Holy Matrimony in October 1976. they were married for thirty-four years and had four children in which they lost one, the loving departed Swanrietta Godwin.
Mrs. Henrietta now leaves behind her loving husband to cherish the wonderful years they had together. She also leaves cherished memories and years behind with her four children: Vincent Jones (Tess) of Jacob City, Florida, Lonnie Jones (Rachel) of Caryville, Florida, Calvin Rhynes (Shelonda) of Madrid, Alabama and Tores Rhynes of Jacob City, Florida; she has ten grandchildren: Maurice, Shedletha, Quinetta, Deona, Brandie, Brianna, Tiekeyrea, Tempestt, Camiyah and Teyanna and three great grandchildren: Taneia, Nariyah and Zacari; she leaves siblings: J.C. Russ, Chipley, Florida, J.B. Russ, (Elnora), Dothan, Alabama, Maxie Walker (Smithie), Cottondale, Florida, Jimmy L. Walker, Tacoma, Washington, Susie Davis, Ft. Pierce, Florida and Gladys Woodget of Atlanta, Georgia; a devoted mother-in-law, Classy Rhynes; and a host of aunts, uncles, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and friends. She also leaves a special friend, Clara Williams and a special niece, Louise Daniels.
