If I can help somebody

As I travel along

If I can help somebody

With a word or song

If I can help somebody

From doing wrong

My living shall not be in vain.

In humble submission to the will of God, the management and staff of Christian Memorial Chapel, LLC sorrowful announce the earthly departure of Elder Howard Garland, Jr., age 80, of Port St. Joe, Florida on Friday, July 27, 2018.

God dispatched the Angel of Death to relay a message to Elder Garland saying "I see your road is rough, and the hill is getting too steep. Come rest your head upon My breast, your soul I will keep."

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
