Albert Daniels

December 25, 1929 ~ January 5, 2017 (age 87) 87 Years Old

Albert Daniels, Sr., (affectionately known as “Uncle Albert”) departed his earthly life, on Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Southeast Medical Center Dothan, AL (Noland Hospital).  He was born in Jackson County, Florida on December 25, 1929 to the late Grant Daniels and Essie Daniels of Jackson County, FL.  Albert attended Jackson County public schools.  Albert lived in Quincy and Graceville, FL for many years where he was employed as an industrial worker. 

He was a faithful member of Holyneck Missionary Baptist Church, where he was a proud Deacon and continued to serve until his health began to decline.

Albert was very well known and well liked in the community.  Many have spoken of how he was always available to lend a helping hand, share his wisdom and give advice.

His wife, one son and two daughters, his parents, three brothers and two sisters, all preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memory:  his children, Clara Byrd of Quincy, FL; Albert Daniels, Jr., of New York; Arthur Hadley (Frances) of Thomasville, GA; Ira L. Daniels, Sr., (Verne) of Jonesboro, GA; Elnora Daniels of Quincy, FL; Lee Earl Daniels of Tallahassee, FL; Sidney Daniels of St. Petersburg, FL; Elijah Daniels (LaToya) of Alford, FL; five sisters: Ali Ray of Los Angeles, CA; Annie Bell Sorey of Marianna, FL; Viola Baker and Mary L. Smith of Gretna, FL; Gwen Daniels of Rochester, NY.  He also leaves to mourn, thirty-eight grandchildren, fifty great grandchildren and twenty great-great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
