William "Red Bone" Porter Jr.

Mr. William "Red Bone" Porter Jr., was born April 23, 1947 in Campbellton, Florida to the late Ulysses Sr. and Doris Mae Dickey Porter, he was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Helen L. Porter in 1966 and to that union three children were born.

He attended the True Word of God Ministries in Graceville, Florida, where he understood Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior.

In addition to his parents, “Red Bone” was preceded in death by his siblings: Charles James Porter, Tishsea Newton, Charles Mitchell Porter and James Hayward Porter.

“Red Bone” went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at his residence in Graceville.

“Red Bone”  is survived by his sons: Travis (Delphhia Pittman) Porter, William D. Porter III (Tyisha), and Sean Porter (Shakeira); his stepmother, Hazel Porter of Dothan, Alabama; sisters: Dorothy Godwin (Willie) of Tampa, FL, Sarah Brown (Jimmy) of Dothan, Alabama and Vanessa Hampton (Robert) of Atlanta, Georgia; brothers: Michael Daniels (Linda), Cleveland Porter (Bridgett) all Dothan, Alabama, Bobby Porter (Lanea) of Conway, South Carolina and Rodrick Porter (Crystal) of Atlanta, Georgia; six grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members and friends.
