Minister Early "Fatman" Lewis, Jr.

January 14, 1943 ~ July 26, 2015 (age 72) 72 Years Old


Minister Early Lewis, II, “Fatman”, son of the late Early and Gladys Lewis, Sr., was born on January 4, 1943 in Midland City, Alabama.

Minister Lewis accepted Christ in 1994 and was called into the ministry in 2000 and served under the leadership of Pastor Wilhelmina Williams.

He received his education at Washington High School and attended Tom P. Haney Vocation School. He was employed with St. Joe Paper Company for 32 years and retired as a Supervisor of the company on the paper machine.

He was joined into Holy Matrimony to Patricia Pace on February 3, 1964.

He was also preceded in death by his only sister, Dorothy M. Butler.

On July 26, 2015 at 10:20 PM the Lord stopped by and summoned him to come home to be with him. 

Minister Lewis leaves to cherish his wife, Patricia Ann Lewis; children: Walter (Mildred), Early III, Rosalind (Harrison), Michael (Erica), Curtis (Lorie), Shelton (Breanna), Desmond and Davin (Kierra); grandchildren: Michael II, Celeste, Eathan, Shakia; great grandchildren: Michael III, Shelton, Jr. and London Zayden; brother, Jimmy Lewis (Elsia); numerous nieces and nephews and a host of cousins, friends and Christian family.
