Mary Reed

Ms. Mary Reed of Tampa, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. 

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, November 14, at 11:00 a.m. at St. John Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 E. Chipco Street with the Reverend Dr. Bartholomew Banks, Pastor with Pastor Danny C. Osborne of God's Side Progressive Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. 

Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery.

Ms. Reed was a native of Graceville, Florida and a resident to Tampa for many years.  She was educated in the Public Schools of Jackson County and was a graduate of Graceville High School. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Darren Reed; parents, Horace and Odie Lee Reed; brother, Jimmie B. Reed; sisters, Mildred Ann Reed and Arie Lee Reed.

She leaves to cherish a lifetime of love and precious memories with: five children, Rodney B. Reed, Sr. (Audrey), Cherise Tucker (Willie), Sylvia Reed (Edward), Bryan Reed and Jamie Reed (Irena) all of Tampa, FL; ten grandchildren: Ashley Gainey, Isaiah Reed, Danielle Reed, Rodney Reed, Jr., Antoine Reed, Tiara McNeal, Brianna Tucker, Adrianna Tucker, Jayden Jamieson and Jayonna Reed; sisters, Joyce Goodwin of Philadelphia, PA, and Urether Reed-Hawkins of Tampa, FL; brothers, Charlie Reed and Willie C. Reed, both of Philadelphia, PA, Clarence Reed of Tampa, FL, Charles Reed of Marianna, FL, Robert Lee Reed (Bura) of Baton Rouge, LA, James Reed (Sarah) of Atlanta, GA and Riley Reed of Dothan, AL; godchildren, Gennette Sorey, Jennifer Thomas, both of Graceville, FL and Latrice Watts of Tampa, FL and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The remains will repose after 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 13 at Ray Williams Funeral Home, 301 N. Howard Avenue.
