Jessie Mae Curry was born on Sunday, March 29th 1925 to the late Buddy Warren and Lela Broxton in Jackson County, Florida and departed this life on Wednesday, April 1th 2009 at her residence in Graceville, Florida, with her family at her bedside.

“Ms. Jessie”, as she was affectionately called attended Mount Calvary Church Of Christ Written In Heaven where she served faithfully.

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Sherman Curry, Sr. She was also preceded in death by six children, Inez Ramsey, Minnie Sheffield, Mary Peterson, Johnnie Mae Curry, Carlton Ray Curry, and Frank Curry.

Ms. Jessie leaves to cherish her memories her children: Josephine( Henry, Sr.) Blandenburg, Hilda( John) McClendon, Frankie Curry, Sharon Johnson, Betty Brooks, Laura McClain, Gloria Nix, Juline Gardner, Maggie( Jessie) Laster, Betty Jean Curry, Ann Curry, Elkay Curry, Willie Charles Nix, Sherman( Veryl) Curry, Jr., Dan( Jewellene) Curry, Jim Curry, John Curry, Jerome Curry, and Clifford Curry; a god daughter: Sherrica Watford; two god grandchildren: Jayson Jolley and Crystal Gainer; two sisters: Gracie Pinkard, Graceville, Florida and Frankie( Edward) Miller, Killeen, Texas; eighty-five grandchildren; one hundred twenty-six great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and dear friends.
