Howard Bailey was born on Sunday, February 6, 1955 in Lakeland, Florida to Cleveland Sr., and Dorothy Bailey.
Howard was a talented artist. God blessed him with the gift of drawing. He was also a jack-of-all trades. Howard was able to harness the skills taught to him by his father, and worked in the areas of plumbing and general contracting.
Growing up in a family of strong personalities, Howard as content with being laid back and having a jovial spirit.
God in His infant wisdom made it so that Howard would return to Jacob City spending his last day surrounded by the love of his parents and his son, Quamaine.
After a prolonged illness, he was called home on Wednesday, January 6, 2016.
He leaves to mourn his death sons: Quamaine Queterious of Jacob City, Florida and Caldrick of Brooksville, Florida; stepchildren: Twanna Thomas (Dennis) of Panama City, Florida, Quincy Works and Howard Townsend of Port St. Joe, Florida; a loving mother and father: Cleveland Sr. and Dorothy Bailey of Jacob City, Florida; eight siblings: Cleveland Jr. (Tanya) Bailey of Clearwater, Florida, Era Hicks of Jacob City, Florida, the Reverend Carl Bailey (Victoria) of Jacob City, Florida, Leonard Raye Bailey (Jennifer) of Port St. Joe, Florida, Richard Bailey of Jacob City, Florida, Brenda Fisher (Emanuel) of Port St. Joe, Florida, Florence Lister (Keith) of Atlanta, Georgia and Bertha Quinn (Michael) of Port St. Joe, Florida; he also leaves behind his aunts and uncles: Willie James Pittman (Mildred), Joe Pittman (Evelyn), Lena Malone, Lorene Pittman and Lois Pittman all of Jacob City, Florida, Anna Tanner of Ocala, Florida; two grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and estranged wife, Stephanie Bailey.
