Mr. Freddie Lamar Granger age  55, of Port Saint Joe, Florida went home to be with the Lord on Saturday December 12, 2015 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida.

He was a native of Gulf County, Florida.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. (EST) at Zion Fair Missionary Missionary Baptist Church 280 Avenue C in Port Saint Joe, Florida with Dr. Napoleon Pittman officiating.

Interment will follow in the Bonifay City Cemetery on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. under the directions of Christian Memorial Chapel of Graceville, Florida.

Freddie Lamar Granger was born to Andrew Mack Granger Sr., and Annie Grace Granger August 21, 1960. His father preceded him by way of death June 1960.

He was given to be the godson of the late Refair McInnis at birth.

He was also preceded in death by a special cousin, the late Edna Jackson, who gave him the name of “Sputney”, grandparents, Willie Mae Grooms, Huriah Grooms, Willie Mae Granger, and Rufus Mcant, He was the youngest of 6 siblings.

He attended elementary school at Washington Elementary School and followed on to attend high school at Port St Joe High. He later received his GED and that made him proud. He was previously employed with Paul Gant's BBQ. He accepted Christ at New Covenant Church.

Freddie had a very special and unique bond with his mother and he will be greatly missed by her, his siblings and entire family.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories: mother: Annie Grace Granger; brothers: Andrew Mack Granger, Jr. and Frederick Willis Sr., (Lynda); sisters: Marjorie Lynell Garland (Mitchal), Cheryl Ann Quinn (Billy Jr.) and Freddra Denise Jones; nephews: Kenyonis Granger (Nikki), Trivoris Freeman, Antwan Garland, Frederick Willis II, Shawn Garland, Marlon D. Quinn, Mosi Quinn, Desmond Quinn, Zyris Hill, Rashed O. Brown, Andrew J. Spires and Zachary Z. Lee; nieces: Quishonda Granger, Myiesha Freeman, Shalana Williams (Vernell), Sonya Quinn-Freeman (Dana), Shinah Quinn Russell (Roosey), LaTrika Quinn Pittman (Timothy), Farica Gant (Shannon) and Phaidra L. Spires; a host of great nephews and great nieces, one great-great nephew and a host of cousins and friends.

Mother’s Expressions: Freddie, you were devoted to ministering to my needs in every aspect. Always concerned about how I felt, whether I had taken my meds and even cooking my meals. You were faithful in serving me in every capacity of my life. I will forever love and miss you and cherish the fondest of memories of you and your unique personality.
